BBC Breakfast News today highlighted 250,000 #ukmortgageprisoners concerns of the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Glen MP's behaviour towards the House of Lords Amendment to the Finance Bill. The amendment proposes a cap on the SVR on mortgages held in closed books owned by non lending asset management firms the Government sold them onto. The cap will give families immediate cashflow relief after suffering 13 years of huge financial loss with devastating impact on their health.

John Glen MP is now ordering other Conservative MPs to vote against the amendment when it is read in the Commons tomorrow.
